  • Support Fair Pay for Women & Families
  • Today—April 8, 2014—is Equal Pay Day and there is work to do! Women make 77 cents to a man’s dollar and a single mother of two working full-time at minimum-wage is living nearly $4,000 below the federal poverty line. America’s women and families are worth more and they deserve better!

  • Reproductive Rights after Roe v. Wade
  • Today is the 41st anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, recognizing a woman’s constitutional right to make her own reproductive health choices—including seeking access to legal abortion.
  • Urge Congress to Prevent a Nuclear Iran
  • Last week, Hadassah released a statementcriticizing the American Studies Association decision to issue a boycott of Israeli academic institutions. Hadassah is a staunch advocate against the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which aims to tarnish and delegitimize the State of Israel. Hadassah maintains its long—standing policy against all forms of organized boycotts—opposing destructive actions in favor of constructive dialogue in order to pursue a future of peace in the Middle East.
