  • Managing Director, Metro (NY)

    Job Location: New York

    The Managing Director, based in New York, is responsible for the operations and management of Hadassah Metro (encompasses eight regions, Hadassah New York, Hadassah Brooklyn, Hadassah Connecticut, Hadassah Nassau, Hadassah Suffolk, Hadassah Westchester, Hadassah Northern New Jersey and Hadassah Lower New York State) in accordance with National Hadassah policies. The Managing Director is the professional that leads the staff and works in partnership with region leadership to carry out and achieve appropriate and achievable goals for the eight regions built upon Hadassah's organizational priorities and mission as stated by National Hadassah. It is essential that the Managing Director works in partnership with the Region Presidents to help identify their goals and implement the activities in their local areas. The Managing Director will supervise staff in the Metro Area and ensure that areas maintain consistent communication with related departments at National (e.g., Marketing staff will work closely with Marketing & Communications Department staff).

    This position is responsible for membership efforts with the overall management responsibility for membership experience and value. This position requires a creative, strategic and collaborative membership professional who can work in a fast-paced environment and help develop, implement and execute an integrated strategy to reach membership goals and priorities.

  • Director, Membership Development & Retention

    Job Location: New York

    The Director of Membership Development & Retention is a membership expert, responsible for collaborating with her volunteer leader in creating and driving strategy to grow, engage and retain a vibrant member community which is the heartbeat of Hadassah. The Director of Membership Development & Retention works with the Membership Chair to direct all aspects of membership for the Organization, including recruitment of new members, retention of annual members and engagement. The Director is responsible for managing member engagement strategy in collaboration with the other key stakeholders internally, i.e. National divisions and externally, i.e. Region and Chapter leadership.

  • Director, Executive Division

    Job Location: New York

    The Director of the Executive Division serves as the chief staff person overseeing the management and functions of the division and reports to the Executive Director/CEO of the organization. The individual is responsible for the oversight of the organization’s support for: The National Assembly/National Board; Office of the Past Presidents; Office of the National Secretary; Hadassah Magazine; Missions; Building Hadassah Community (BHC); Convention; Young Judea and Youth Aliyah Projects and; Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO). The individual also serves as liaison to the National HMO Chair. The Director of the Executive Division will also work closely with the Division’s Coordinator (and/or Vice Coordinator as appropriate).

    To handle general legal work including reviewing of matters, drafting documents, problem solving, advising and consulting with the General Counsel on legal matters
