Spring 2018 Newsletter

Thursday, Mar 8 2018

A Call to Action on Gun ViolenceStarting with two brave and dedicated nurses, Hadassah has become a world-renowned force, advancing health and healing in the United States, Israel and beyond. In 2018, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Hadassah Medical Organization and of the Henrietta Szold Hadassah-Hebrew University School of Nursing.

We hope this newsletter will inspire you to get more involved with the Nurses Council — and help us grow stronger and expand our impact.

  • Nurses as Advocates: A Symposium
Join us in Washington, DC, for "Nurses as Advocates," a Nurses Council Symposium featuring panelists from the George Washington University School of Nursing. The May 15 symposium is part of the Hadassah Women's Health & Advocacy Conference, which will also feature a presentation from a Hadassah Medical Organization nurse. Continuing education units will be offered. Register today!
  • Celebrate the Nurses in Your Life
Help us celebrate nurses, Hadassah and the Power of Women Who Heal on social media. Download our sign to celebrate nurses through our #ChaiFiveANurse campaign.
  • May Is Nurses Appreciation Month
Hadassah needs your help finding outstanding members who are nurses to highlight during Nurses Appreciation Month. Have a suggestion? Send an email by March 27 to membership@hadassah.org — be sure to include their name, contact info and a sentence about why they stand out.
  • "Gift a Nurse" Membership Campaign
As part of the centennial celebration of our nursing school, we encourage you to help bring more nurses into the Hadassah fold by giving the gift of Hadassah membership to a hardworking nurse in your life. What a perfect way to show your appreciation.
  • Hadassah On Call: New Frontiers in Medicine
Our new podcast takes you behind the headlines with Hadassah Medical Organization doctors and specialists, patients and nurses. Whether you listen on our website or download on iTunes, please share.

  • Like the Hadassah National Nurses Council community on Facebook.
