Hadassah Nurse's Council (Summer 2017)

Friday, Jul 7 2017

As nurses, we work on the front lines of healthcare, seeing firsthand how policies and protocols impact patients, particularly women.

This spring, we were proud to represent our council at the Women's Health Empowerment Summit, convened by Hadassah in Washington, DC. Each week, we are inspired by the trailblazing new protocols being developed at the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) and are proud to spread the word about these breakthroughs, including at events like the World Stem Cell Summit.

Now, we're kicking off a new effort to help the Nurses Council thrive. We need your help.

6 Easy Ways to Add Your Power to Ours

  • Share your ideas.
Do you have ideas for helping our council thrive? For programs, study groups or partnerships? What has your council done lately? How can we help you? Email us.
  • Become a Hadassah Nurses Council ambassador.
Spread the word at informal gatherings and with your professional networks, like nursing schools or associations.
  • Engage with other nurses online on the Nurses Council Facebook group.
  • Connect at the 2017 Hadassah National Business Meeting & Symposium.
  • Advance your professional knowledge.
Earn credits in our Nurses' Council Continuing Education Program. Email us to learn more.
  • Get ready for a nursing centennial!
Plans are under way for celebrations of the Hadassah School of Nursing's 100th Anniversary, including a Health Summit in Washington, DC, in May 2018 and a mission to Israel in October 2018

As volunteers, we're doing all we can to make sure our council benefits its members and Hadassah. That's the Power of Women Who Heal.
