In celebration of its 70th year of independence, Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, Inc. (HWZOA), reaffirms its commitment to the State of Israel. We celebrate our efforts of practical Zionism which helped to build the State of Israel, and pledge to continue our important work of Tikkun Olam.
HWZOA reasserts its staunch support for Israel’s sovereignty and security, and urges all nations and leaders to speak out for Israel’s right to defend itself against all threats that endanger the safety and security of Israeli citizens.
We commend the abiding relationship between the United States and Israel, and encourage increased cooperation initiatives in: technology, security, medicine, the arts, and culture.
We value the importance of advocating on a federal level for a strong US-Israel relationship. The friendship between our two countries is never taken for granted, and we as American citizens represent a bi-partisan commitment between two democracies with shared values.
HWZOA encourages our Members, Associates, and supporters to stand with Israel, especially in times of crisis, by contacting their elected officials, attending community rallies and programs in support of Israel, studying Zionism, getting more involved in Hadassah’s activities, and buying Israeli products.
