MESSAGE FROM THE GREATER ATLANTA CHAPTER PRESIDENT

The Hadassah Greater Atlanta Chapter is a large organization with over 3,000 members divided into five groups, four of which are based on geography and named Etz Aviv, Ketura, Metulla, and Mount Scopus. These geographic groups offer a range of programs including book clubs, author events, speakers on various topics, cooking demonstrations, and social gatherings. The fifth group, made up of Allied Health Professionals, focuses on health-related topics and highlights the latest research and treatments from Hadassah's hospitals in Israel through speaker events and programs.

Our chapter offers several popular annual programs, including "Best Strokes," which raises funds for breast and ovarian cancers; "Chesed Awards," which honors high school seniors for their academic excellence and their commitment to service in the Jewish community; and our "Chai Tea," which recognizes our annual givers who are Keepers of the Gate and members of our Chai Society donors. We also provide leadership training programs for our officers and board members.

We recently released our beautiful, new cookbook. It is a wonderful compilation of tried-and-true recipes, new and healthy recipes, and traditional recipes personally provided by many of our Atlanta Hadassah sisters.

At Hadassah Greater Atlanta Chapter, we host a variety of virtual programs on Zoom, featuring speakers from Hadassah's hospitals and national and regional offices. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and motivate our members through a variety of engaging experiences. We invite you to join us and become a part of our community.
