CASCADES ROSH HODESH EVENT - MARCH 2017
From our President
Dear Hadassah Sisters,
I am writing you with exciting news from Hadassah Florida Atlantic.
First, Yasher Koach (kudos) to our Region! From our 26,000 plus members, in 2016, we raised over 3 million dollars! With your support we finished building the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower. The women of Hadassah are woman who do!
BUT, the most exciting news is that the Region office is moving to Boynton Beach: 1325 South Congress Avenue, Suite 209 (just north of Woolbright Road). Our phone number remains the same: 561-498-1012. The new office has ample parking and is convenient to I-95 and great shopping and restaurants.
To facilitate our move, we will be closed to outside business, from May 22, 2017 through June 4, 2017 and reopening on Monday, June 5th. A Grand Opening will be held in October. Watch for your invitation.
Also, keep an eye out for information on our exciting upcoming event: Mini Literary Luncheon (formerly Book & Author) that will take place on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Delray Beach Golf Club. Robert Watson will be previewing his newest book, The Ghost Ship and Steven M. Friedman, an uplifting speaker, will be discussing his book, The Ultimate Broadway Musical List Book.
Our “Seeing is Believing” Mission to Israel is coming soon (October 2017). Only seven months to go. Join with colleagues from all over Florida as we explore Jerusalem, spend a day at our hospitals and hear interesting speakers. Then we head north to Safed to go on a dig, visit Meir Shefah, a chocolate factory, plus a visit to our Youth Aliyah village and MUCH more. This is a great trip for first-timers, as well as return visitors. Please call Ayelet Tours for more information and to reserve your seat on the bus. 800-237-1517 or visit www.ayelet.com. A link to the complete itinerary can be downloaded from our website (above).
This is just a preview of the terrific events that Hadassah Florida Atlantic holds throughout the year. Please come visit us after June 5th in our new office.
