From our President
There is no organization like Hadassah — working in communities around the US to connect Jewish women and empower them to effect change through support of Israel, advancing health and wellness, and advocacy.”
These are the words of our National President, Ellen Hershkin. There is no organization like Hadassah, a grassroots membership organization of over 300,000 who support the ideals of Zionism, health and wellness around the world and advocacy for our beliefs on women’s health and women’s economic equity, combating violence against women, immigrant rights and fight against hate and racism. We have accomplished so much and truly deserve the tag line: The Women Who DO!
The Jacksonville chapter has 900 life members. The chapter holds meetings, educational events and programming to help keep our members informed about the latest research that is ongoing at Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO), advocacy opportunities and just plain fun, engaging activities.
Jacksonville Hadassah has a Facebook page, please visit it, often for the latest news & programs in our chapter.
