Dear Hadassah Members, Life Members, Potential Members and Friends:

Welcome to Neshama---Hadassah of Greater Philadelphia Center City’s “newest” Young Professional Chapter’s website. Since we have re-started this group, we currently have 26 active members (16 Life Members and 10 Annual Members).  Seven were installed as Life Members at our “Breakfast Club” December event. I want to give a hearty Mazal Tov to all our newest leadership board members: Allison Benton (Education & Advocacy VP), Candice Feldman (Secretary VP), Tamara Friedlander (Treasurer VP), Meredith Pollock (Membership VP), Rachel Sakofs (Programming VP) and Erica Schwarz (Fundraising VP) who have been working so hard all year. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you and working with you to continue to grow the future leadership of Hadassah.

“There is no organization like Hadassah — working in communities around the US to connect Jewish women and empower them to effect change through support of Israel, advancing health and wellness, and advocacy.” These are the words of our National President, Ellen Hershkin.

Hadassah is a grassroots membership organization of over 300,000 who support the ideals of Zionism, health and wellness around the world and advocacy for our beliefs on women’s health and women’s economic equity, combating violence against women, immigrant rights and fight against hate, racism and white supremacy. We have accomplished so much and truly deserve the tag line: The Women Who DO! Check out Hadassah's Advocacy Center and make your impact stronger.

Help us continue to grow this chapter. Share the joy of Hadassah Membership with family and friends.  Let them know what a wonderful organization we are. Enjoy the opportunity of making life- time friendships. Invite friends to our chapter and Philadelphia Region events.

When you join Hadassah you will receive a yearly subscription to the renowned

Hadassah Magazine. Click here to learn more about joining Hadassah http://www.hadassah.org/ (click on the top right corner JOIN US).

I look forward to seeing you at our chapter’s events! Please join me and our leaders. Let us work together to make 2018 the best year for Neshama Hadassah!

“We believe that each individual has a moral imperative to help make our world a better place. We are so grateful to you for choosing to make a positive impact through Hadassah.”

All  the best,

Rachel Baum
