Portland Hadassah has a proud, vibrant history, which continues and flourishes. In 2016 alone, two Hadassah National Board members spoke in local homes: Benita Ross engaged members in learning about Meir Shefeya, Hadassah's premier Youth Aliyah Village in Zichron, Israel. Next, Judy Shereck updated us on the newest and latest in Hadassah's world class, pioneering medical research. Finally, Dr. David Zangen joined us at a brunch at Jake's Grill to share with us his most current discoveries in diabetes care and treatment-- at that event Portland Hadassah raised $35,000 for medical research! Kol haKvod! We are all looking forward to future Hadassah events in Portland, Oregon. SAVE THE DATE! Sunday, September 18, 2016 Portland Hadassah presents RESEARCH IN SERVICE TO HUMANITY 10:00am-noon, brunch at the Hotel deLuxe
