The Health Professionals group of Hadassah Greater Atlanta includes members of all ages from all over the metro Atlanta area. Our members are not only health care professionals and wellness practitioners but all women who have a strong commitment to health and social action initiatives. Our meetings center around health care topics, activism, and proactive change, accompanied by food and upbeat community. We meet in various venues around the Atlanta area. For more information, please contact Ellen Sichel at email@example.com.
Join us on Sunday, September 10th at Congregation Or Hadash for the G.E.M. Force Gender Equity in Medicine- Driving Optimal Treatment for Women.
Gender Equity in Medicine (G.E.M.) is a key area for Hadassah’s advocacy. Women and the community at large know very little about this issue and how it impacts their health and treatment options. Our goal is to educate and to bring awareness to this problem and its impact on women’s health. The program will focus on the areas where women’s health is most affected and highlight how women are not equally treated in medical research, drug testing and treatment.
We have an amazing panel:
Rachel Schonberger, MD; Chair of Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO)
Nanette Wenger, MD; Professor of Medicine (Cardiology); Emeritus
Emory University School of Medicine
Mimi Zieman, MD; Vice President Clinical Affairs Femasys Inc.
Allan Levey, MD, PhD, Betty Gage Holland Chair; Emory University Department of Neurology: Director, Emory Alzheimer's Disease Research Center

From our President
Hi, Ellen Sichel here.
I am thrilled and honored to be serving Health Professionals President. I love Hadassah and all that it stands for. My commitment is lead by example: Stay in the solution, treat everyone with respect and kindness, and most of all keep the mission of Hadassah first, no matter how strongly I feel about an issue. The work of Hadassah is much greater than any one person.
I love having fun, and we at Health Professionals incorporate fun no matter how serious the topic. We will step out on a limb this year with important health related topics that affect us all, even if they make us uncomfortable. Check out our wonderful programs and see for yourself.
Our group might be the smallest of all Atlanta groups, but boy are we are mighty. Come and see for yourselves. We will make sure you feel at home, eat yummy healthy foods, have fun, and learn something new. Hope to see you soon!
