Michelle Gershon has been a member of Raquela Hadassah since she first moved to Cherry Hill in 2000. Since then, she has held many board positions, and is so proud and excited to be part of a presidium representing an amazing group of Raquela women!
She is also thrilled to be a 2016 South Jersey Federation Yad b'Yad award honoree. In addition to her volunteer work with Hadassah, Michelle has recently volunteered at nursing homes and an adult neuro rehab day program. She is the class mom in her son's 4th grade class at Kellman Brown Academy, and enjoys lending a hand when needed there.
She has a masters degree in communication disorders, and, after staying home to raise her children for 15 years, is starting to work again as a speech pathologist in a school for children with developmental disabilities.
Michelle is also the youth advisor at Temple Beth Sholom, running the Chaverim program for 3rd and 4th graders. She enjoys planning and executing fun monthly programs for the religious school students there. Michelle has been married to her husband, Mark, for 18 years,and they have 3 beautiful children, in elementary, middle, and high school. She is a stepmother to 3 wonderful adults (and their spouses) and is also a "mum mum" to 3 children who attend Politz.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys traveling, trips to the shore, and playing mah jongg.

Sheila Lenoff has been a member of Raquela Hadassah for the past three years. She has been on the board of Raquela since joining the group 3 years ago. Sheila is looking forward to being part of the presidium representing Raquela women.
Sheila is not shy to volunteer work. She was president of the 5th grade PTA committee when her younger son attended elementary school. She has spent time being room parent for both of her sons as they attended Hebrew School. She currently volunteers her time on Sunday mornings selling “Scrip” to help her synagogue earn additional funds as well as helping out with Chesed cooking for friends at her synagogue.
She currently lives in Cherry Hill with her husband of 24 years and her two teenage sons. Sheila has a master’s degree in communication disorders and is gainfully employed full time for Woodbury Public Schools as a Speech/ Language Pathologist. In addition to working with children, she does call in work at assisted living facilities throughout Camden and Burlington Counties. Teaching people to be able to communicate their wants and needs is her passion.
In her spare time, she enjoys quality time at home with her family, reading books, exercising, listening to music and taking walks outside.
