How to Talk About Israel
Hadassah is often asked for advice about the appropriate way to respond to criticism of Israel from news articles, editorials, television and radio programs, speakers at public forums, and small group gatherings which frequently include individuals from multiple religious faiths. As Hadassah members and leaders, we support the democratically elected Government of Israel. We strive to understand the intricacies of the situation in the Middle East and be articulate and diplomatic advocates for Israel.
You can download a helpful guide and learn how to respond to challenging questions about Israel by going to “My Hadassah” and searching for “How to Talk about Israel” under Zionist Education.

Walk 2018 Kickoff
April 19, 2018
On Sunday, April 15, 2018, we gathered in the home of Nechama Gonenn to learn about, and raise funds for, stem cell research and treatment. Through the magic of modern technology, (Skype) we were able to listen to and see Malia Litman from her home in Texas. We were spellbound as she described her devastating symptoms and her journey back to health at Hadassah Hospital where she received stem cell treatment. She entered the hospital in a wheelchair and left on her own two feet! Light refreshments completed an exhilarating day.
Sunday in the Park
June 10, 2018
Please join us as we walk through Dix Hills Park to raise money for stem cell research. We will have live music presented by the Just Cause Band to energize and entertain us as we wend our way through the park. Begin your walk with light refreshments, as well. We hope to see you there.
