Levin comes to Hadassah from a rich background in Jewish communal work, management consulting, and policy studies. Hadassah Applauds Sen. Frist For His Dramatic Support Of Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, applauds Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) for his strong support of embryonic stem cell research. In a dramatic speech on the Senate floor this morning, Senator Frist said, “while human embryonic stem cell research is still at a very early stage, the limitations put in place in 2001 will, over time, slow our ability to bring potential new treatments for certain diseases. Therefore, I believe the president’s policy should be modified.”
