During Operation Protective Edge, bulldozers played a critical role in destroying the tunnels dug by Hamas to infiltrate Israel. Let us Bow our Heads: Mourning Eyal, Gilad and Naftali
It is with a heavy heart that we learned a few hours ago that the bodies of the three kidnapped Israeli teenagers have been found in Hebron. Naftali Frankel, 16, who had dual Israeli-American citizenship; Gilad Shaar, 16; and Eyal Yifrach, 19, were abducted on their way home from school on June 12. Date: 7/1/2014

Hadassah congratulates Israeli President-elect Reuven Rivlin on his election as the 10th President of Israel. Rivlin, a member of the Likud party, has been a Member of the Knesset (MK) since 1988 and served twice as Speaker of the Knesset. He also served as the Minister of Communications from 2001-2003.
