Dorothy (Dottie) Goldstein has passed away. She was a Life Member of Hadassah and a past President of Bat Ami/Margalit. She was also a longtime volunteer at our Hadassah Thrift Shop. May her memory be a blessing for us all.
We mourn the passing of Dorothy Pitlick, Mildred Berman, Dr. Jack Presberg, and Paul Roxin. Dottie was the mother of Barbara Lovenheim, a Life member of Hadassah. Mildred was a Life Member of Bat Ami. Paul and Jack were Hadassah Associates. Paul was the husband of Bea Roxin and father of Deborah Waltzer, both Life Members. May their memories be for a blessing.
Rochester Chapter extends our deepest condolences to the family of Life Member, Karen Lustig on the loss of her father, Hadassah Associate, Dr. Lester Schiff. Karen’s mother is Hadassah Life Member Miriam Schiff. Karen’s sisters Janet Schiff DiFiore, Sandy Schiff and Barbara Fine are also Life Members of Hadassh. Karen and Barbara are also Past Presidents of our Rochester Chapter.
Mazel Tov to Martha Green, past Chapter President of both the Rochester and New City Chapters and the LNYS Region Area Vice President. She was the 2013 Hadassah honoree at the Women’s Division of Israel Bonds Breakfast held on Sunday, January 13, 2013. We're so proud of you, Martha!

Fran and Steve Studley have a new granddaughter, Sophie Ann, who was born December 4, 2012!!!! Sophie's proud parents are Jessica and Kenny Stavalone, big sister is Madison Stavalone, great-grandparents are Irene and Alan Weinberg, and aunt is Rachel Studley!!!
