With this email I would like to express my gratitude to prof. Dina Ben Yehuda
Dear prof. Ben Yehuda, Being at the end of my treatment I would like to offer my deepest thanks for all the care you provided for me during my treatment at the Day Care unit of the Hematology department of the Sharett Institute.
It is really hard to consider good luck being at a hospital. Nevertheless I am sure that I was really lucky to be your patient and to undergo the medical treatment in the department you head. I really appreciate the fact that you did not rely on the previous tests results that I brought and wished to examine in more detail the pathology, and were so much involved in the more precise diagnostics of the my non-Hodgkin Lymphoma disease. All this led you to choose the most appropriate treatment procedure for my case. As a patient I would like to point out the wonderful care I received in the Day Care Centre. It was a really comforting to feel that any side effect I felt as a result of the chemotherapy was taken in consideration and either the doses of the infusion components, or the way that I received them, were changed. I would like to express my gratitude also to my doctor Dr. Dadi Lavi, and also to the other doctors in the department who were caring for me when Dr. Lavi was not present. It is difficult to say that it is a pleasant experience to visit the Hematology department twice a week for 5-6 months. In any case I can say that all the staff of the department - from the kind and efficient secretary Etty who new my name the second time I visited the Day Care unit, to Aya, Susan, Batia, Gita (who meanwhile went into retirement) and all other nurses, and to Ruti, all of them showed such high level of professionalism and such care, that made my treatment be quite tolerable.
Once more I would like to express my and my wife's whole hearted thanks.
