Education and advocacy came alive November 9, when Hadassah’s Chicago Chapter sponsored a Forum for Voters featuring candidates of both political parties in the 10th Congressional District. The candidates will face off in primary elections in February. Over 300 people attended the Forum, which was free and open to the public. It was held at Congregation Am Shalom in Glencoe. Discussion included key issues, including health care, choice, U.S. involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan, campaign finance reform, Iran, and the security of Israel.
