Hadassah's Physicians Council Sponsors Program in Jerusalem in Coordination with Centennial Celebration Hadassah's National Physicians Council will be hosting a pre-Centennial Convention Continuing Education Program in Jerusalem, Oct. 14-15, 2012.
Co-sponsored by Hadassah and Emory University (Atlanta, GA), the program offers participants the opportunity to meet with physician researchers at the Hadassah University Medical Center and learn about clinical applications of innovative research being done at Hadassah.
During the Hadassah Centennial Convention immediately following the educational program (Oct. 15-18), the Physicians Council will take part in the special dedication of the new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower--Hadassah's gift to the people of Israel on the occasion of its Centennial. Hadasit, Hadassah’s Technology Transfer Arm, Reviews
When the Hadassah University Medical Center’s physicians suggest a
solution to a medical problem which can lead to the development of a new
medicine or product, Hadasit, Hadassah’s technology transfer arm, explores its
feasibility and supports the promotion of those viable ideas with innovation
potential. Although 2012 has been “a year full of challenges for the life
science industry,” says Einat Zisman, Hadasit’s Chief Executive Officer,
Hadasit still signed 125 agreements for clinical trials, all to be done at
Hadassah. In addition, Hadasit signed 15 agreements for cooperation and
commercialization of technologies that were developed at Hadassah. Click here
