Grateful Daughter Thanks Hadassah for Father’s Care
An 84-year-old man, in critical condition, was brought to the Hadassah Medical Center; his daughter later wrote to salute Hadassah for the quality of concern her father experienced in Internal Medicine B on Mount Scopus.
"Last month we brought our dear 84-year-old father to Hadassah-Mt. Scopus. His condition was critical and deteriorating. He was covered with bed sores, suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and other disorders. At Hadassah, he received an overall professional treatment that included a leg amputation, dialysis, and a thorough treatment to each of his diseases. Everything was done with true care (unfortunately we did not have this feeling in other hospitals). His doctors--Dr. Amichai Gotgold and Dr. Karmon--the special nurses--Tzippi, Ruti, and Adia--and the rest of the team made it their mission to cure our father! Today we salute the Department of Medicine B on Mt. Scopus."

P.S. We are a very large family. Each one of us used to come by himself and ask questions. The team was nice to all of us, listening patiently to all of us.
Hadasit, Hadassah’s Technology Transfer Arm, Reviews
When the Hadassah University Medical Center’s physicians suggest a
solution to a medical problem which can lead to the development of a new
medicine or product, Hadasit, Hadassah’s technology transfer arm, explores its
feasibility and supports the promotion of those viable ideas with innovation
potential. Although 2012 has been “a year full of challenges for the life
science industry,” says Einat Zisman, Hadasit’s Chief Executive Officer,
Hadasit still signed 125 agreements for clinical trials, all to be done at
Hadassah. In addition, Hadasit signed 15 agreements for cooperation and
commercialization of technologies that were developed at Hadassah. Click here
