Soon-to-be Parents Thank Hadassah

Soon-to-be parents, identified here by their first initial, wrote this note in appreciation of the treatment they received at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center at Ein Kerem.

"18 months ago we met Prof. Nathan Rojansky at Hadassah. We were after 3 years of very difficult unsuccessful fertility treatments in several hospitals.

We were referred to Prof. Rojansky by our physician in order to undergo an urgent operation. Prof. Rojansky was very sensitive. He noticed how distressed we were, reassured us and said that an operation was most unlikely, which proved to be an accurate diagnosis. He referred us to Prof. Alex Simon to continue our fertility treatments.

Words are not good enough to express the sensitive, personal and caring as well as professional treatment we were fortunate to receive from Prof. Simon. Even when we gave up, he kept persuading us to keep on. The result is that R. is now six months pregnant. We plan to come to Hadassah in a few months to personally thank Prof. Simon, Prof. Rojansky, nurse Miri Heringman who was great. But we don't want to wait and already wish to express our appreciation and gratitude for the sensitive, compassionate and professional treatment we received.

One doesn't find such first class medicine in other public hospitals, and not even in private hospitals.

Hadasit, Hadassah’s Technology Transfer Arm, Reviews 2012’s Accomplishments

When the Hadassah University Medical Center’s physicians suggest a solution to a medical problem which can lead to the development of a new medicine or product, Hadasit, Hadassah’s technology transfer arm, explores its feasibility and supports the promotion of those viable ideas with innovation potential. Although 2012 has been “a year full of challenges for the life science industry,” says Einat Zisman, Hadasit’s Chief Executive Officer, Hadasit still signed 125 agreements for clinical trials, all to be done at Hadassah. In addition, Hadasit signed 15 agreements for cooperation and commercialization of technologies that were developed at Hadassah. Click here to read the latest Newsletter from Hadasit >>
