While spending time with her daughter in northern Israel, Roberta (Bobbi) Ebert fell down a flight of stone stairs and found herself a patient in the Hadassah University Medical Center's Trauma Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and finally on the Orthopedic floor of the new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower.
Mrs. Ebert, suffering from a brain bleed and several broken vertebrae, nevertheless cheerfully praised the care she received from Hadassah's physicians and nurses. Everyone at Hadassah, she said, "has not only given me exceptional care of the highest level, but also has been so caring, so wonderful in making me--and all the patients--feel that the staff was going to get us well.
"I was overwhelmed," she elaborated, "by the love that Hadassah gives its patients, as well as the best in medical attention." Mrs. Ebert urged everyone to invest in the Hadassah Medical Center, because it is there for us, for the people of Israel, and all of humanity.
