|Stamford Hadassah Celebrates 100 Years |
Centennial celebrations in Connecticut have been ongoing since February 24, 2012 when Hadassah turned 100. Stamford Hadassah invited the community to join them for a centennial bash at a pre-summer party at KOSH (Kosher American Bistro), which was held on Monday evening, June 4th, 2012. The participants were amazed by the extraordinary work Hadassah accomplishes both here in the United States and in Israel, as they listened to the presentation by Barbara Spack, Hadassah's National Chair of Marketing and Communications.
KOSH partnered with Hadassah to honor Hadassah's founder and launch a new menu item, "The Henrietta Szold." Members and guests tried KOSH's delicious food, including the new dinner item, knowing that a percentage of the evening's proceeds were donated by KOSH to benefit Hadassah.
