|Houston Chapter Honors Women of Courage|
Debbie Levine and Elizabeth Smart
The Houston Chapter of Hadassah held its largest annual fundraiser, the Women of Courage Luncheon, on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Bayou City Event Center, and set a fund-raising record for this particular event. A crowd of 550 people came to honor three remarkable women who have dealt with important issues in the community and have gone the extra mile to make a difference in the lives of others. Honored at this event were: Founder of Women of Courage Debbie Levine, Hadassah National President Marcie Natan, and Child Advocate and Abduction Survivor Elizabeth Smart, who also served as the keynote speaker.
