|Northern Seaboard Region Holds Conference at the Beach|

The Northern Seaboard Region of Hadassah held a Conference at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware in late April under the leadership of Rhoda Dombchik, President and Sueann Lehner, Program Vice President. The speakers focused on the theme of 'Mind, Body, and Spirit' for the weekend.
Dr. Andrea Lieber, Professor of Judaica Studies at Dickinson College, led an inspirational, non-traditional Shabbat service using music and prayer. Luisa Narins, Membership VP, conducted tai chi on the beach as well as presenting a comprehensive outlook of Membership in Hadassah. Kacy Spivack, National Leadership Vice Chair, spoke to the group throughout the weekend on leadership in Hadassah, connecting the Torah Portion to the works of Hadassah, and enlightening the group to the Sister to Sister Heart Initiative. Dr. Jeffrey Morrison, an award winning physician in the field of Integrative Medicine and author of the book Cleanse your Body, Clear Your Mind, spoke to the group about preventing and reversing degenerative and chronic diseases through the nutritional approach to healthcare. There were also fun events throughout the weekend such as a fashion show with Hadassah models and an improv comedy show following Havdallah.
