Your support of Hadassah today will impact thousands of lives in 2011 and for years to come. More ways you can make a difference

Year End IRA Planning

Special this year: Are you planning to convert your traditional IRA into a Roth IRA?

If you qualify, converting from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA may allow you to avoid the risk of higher future tax rates, particularly if you expect to remain in a high tax bracket even after retirement. Converting in 2010 may be especially attractive because the maximum income tax rate is scheduled to rise in 2011.

However, if you convert your IRAs you may be faced with a higher tax bill. Making a charitable contribution to Hadassah may help to offset the federal income taxes incurred by the conversion.
