Happy Hanukkah!

In a few nights we will light the first Hanukkah candle and recount some of the miracles that saved our people through the millennia. In this delightful season we celebrate the joys of family, of plenty, and of all that has brought us to this day. Let us celebrate the wonder that is the State of Israel, and the marvels performed at our hospitals daily. On our website we have recipes and games, blessings and free Hanukkah eCards you can send to friends and family. If you wish to share a little of your Hanukkah gelt with Hadassah, we have a virtual menorah you can light as you teach your children the meaning of tzedakah. All of us at Hadassah wish you and your families a festive and fabulous Hanukkah.

Visit our Hanukkah Headquarters at hadassah.org/hanukkah.

Imagine the light of 300,000 menorahs

one for each of our members and supporters—illuminating the extraordinary work of Hadassah.

"The children at the Hadassah Youth Villages are the lucky ones who are provided with homes, food, education and loving adults . Your support allows us to take care of these needy and deserving children. Hadassah members also contribute to a " fund for special cases" at Meir Shfeyah for children who are sent home on weekend visits with " care packages" of food for Shabbat to their families who often have empty refrigerators. Thank you. "
