Passover celebrates the exodus from Egypt, the Hebrews' journey from slavery to freedom. It is a story of redemption, both mental and physical. We are commanded to retell the Passover story to our children every year, and to remember always that we were slaves in Egypt.

Enjoy the seder, the matzah, the wine, the singing, the recitation of the ten plagues. Above all, enjoy the warmth of family and friends. Happy Passover.

"I have come to know about Hadassah from my neighbor and friend, Shara Beck in Prescott, AZ. I am so impressed with what your organization does in Israel. I am not Jewish, but feel as if I am your sister because as a Christain, I love Israel and all God's people. My husband is a sculptor, and we have donated one of his bronze sculptures for a benefit for the Hadassah group at Temple B'rith Shalom in Prescott. We hope and pray that this small gift will be able to help many in need of medical research and treatment at one of the Hadassah facilities."

"It's so wonderful to read good news—hooray! Hadassah for supporting a comprehensive pediatric program and a more holistic approach to our children's health and future! I totally agree with Dr. Oberklaid, "Little can be done to change a child's genes, but there is much we can do to change the environment in which young children grow and develop."
