Looking forward…we are celebrating Young Judaea's historic step forward as an independent organization. And we are pleased to announce that the National Board approved the sale of Hadassah House, our West 58th Street, New York City headquarters. There's excitement ahead!

"People ask Why do I support Hadassah? -- it's the life saving work at Hadassah Medical Center ... the research with Hadasit Bio-Holdings Ltd. ... and more --- and it's not just me .... and the 330,000 members, associates and supporters ... Thanks to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research for supporting the research that Hadassah is doing with Parkinson's disease."

Camp Young Judea Sprout Lake's 36TH Anniversary

On a glorious summer day, 800+ people crowded Sprout Lake's campus to renew acquaintances, reaffirm the value of Jewish camping, and revel in the panoply of activities planned for the day: Complete the ropes course, do the zip line from end to end, take a hay ride, tour the camp, meet with staff members, join the Friends of Sprout Lake, become members of the Nevatim (sprouts) Legacy Society, eat a BBQ lunch, watch an Iron Chef contest, enjoy the Parsha Players, swim, play mini golf and more. There was the petting zoo, jewelry making, basketball, archery, a Frisbee contest and the culminating activity, Zionist kite flying.

Four camp directors from the past--Marty Davis, Bobby Harris, Doron Krakow, and Larry Hoffman--came to participate, to meet with 'old' campers and to judge the Iron Chef contest. The Israel Scouts Caravan was there. Their rousing performance ended with a rendition of Hatikvah. All had a wonderful time!
