Hadassah Stands with Israel

Last week, the United Nations General Assembly voted to upgrade the Palestinians' status to "non-member observer state." Visit our National Action Center for Hadassah's official response, background and ramifications of the vote, and what you can do to advocate for Israel.

Help Hadassah Help Israel Now.

As soon as conflict broke out in Israel, Hadassah established the Hadassah Readiness Fund, to be prepared for extraordinary costs in a crisis. Members and friends quickly answered the call. Funds were raised to upgrade the security system at our Mt. Scopus hospital; to help our Youth Aliyah villages feed and shelter youngsters from the South, where rockets rained around them; and to move Young Judaeans to safer locations in Jerusalem. Also ending December 31 is the opportunity to donate $100 or more and receive a sterling silver Centennial Lock necklace. The best part: when you give these gifts to your mom, daughter, sister, cousin or friend: you are also helping Hadassah enhance and save lives, here and in Israel.

If your gift recipient is a history buff, give her—or him—"Thin Threads:" 101 heart-tugging stories about Hadassah life-changing moments, accompanied by a century of photographs.

Feeling even more generous? Make the gift of a brick on the lovely Centennial Path at Hadassah Ein Kerem. Inscribe it with the name of someone you wish to honor or remember.
