LeeAnn Ancier

Thank you Hashem and thank you Hadassah Ein Kerem.

It has been the most wonderful two years of my life and I have you to thank for it.

It was November 25, 2009 when my daughter-in-law entered the hospital.

She was having severe back pain but only 31 weeks pregnant. It was unbearable. The wonderful midwives and maternity staff did all they could to keep " in its natural home. It was a long two weeks for everyone in Israel and me, the Bubie to be back here in Minneapolis, while bed rest was the plan.

But on December 4, 2009 at 1:13 am Minneapolis time, my precious Liba Esther entered the world, with a beautiful set of lungs and a whopping three pounds, 9oz. Her father (my son) stayed the whole evening at his wife's bedside. Hashem heard his prayers. Liba spent the next two weeks in NICU. The staff at Hadassah Hospital showed these two new parents how to care for this precious new little Sabra.

Today as I am busy shopping for her second birthday presents, I just want to say thank you again to Hashem and the wonderful maternity staff at Hadassah Ein Kerem.
