In many ways the Thin Threads of Hadassah represents a circle for me-one that began many years before I was born. My Grandmother and Mother, of blessed memories, were tireless volunteers for Atlanta Hadassah. Not being one to break a circle, as a child, born in Atlanta, GA I was introduced to Young Judaea and was taught many interesting and educational topics about the New State of Israel.
As a teen I joined Atlanta Junior Hadassah and was taught many more new subjects and happenings about the then still New State of Israel. As Time circled on, as a young married Atlanta Chapter of Hadassah encircled me right into one of its groups called Tel Chai along with many family members and friends.
Presently, as a Grandmother still being educated by Greater Atlanta Chapter and the Southeastern Region of Hadassah along with many relatives and friends and even some Atlanta Mishpacha. Today the circle remains unbroken as generations of Aunts, daughter, Daughter-in-law and granddaughters help to continue that circle turning us all, (Husband, Son, Uncles, Grandson) into members of a five generation Atlanta Life Member family with lots of Associates, too.
The long history of the spirit and mission of Hadassah: Passion, Places, Family, Friends, Study Events, Projects, Programs, Practical Zionism, Israel, Hospitals, Young Judaea. New insights into everything Jewish and maybe not so Jewish. Serious decisions, new possibilities along with new Hadassah people and new Hadassah friends who were empowered and empowered me into taking actions that have rotated me in life changing ways that have been good for me way down into my Soul. This is what my Hadassah Circle is all about, Passionately connecting with each other, working together to change, rearrange, transform, and I'll throw in a semi-modern term Networking, the circle of our lives for the better. Surely, the past, the present, and G-D willing the future will continue to Circle through Hadassah & the entire Jewish People, a circle that began long before it was born, also.
