With only 17 weeks until its first patients are welcomed, the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower is craneless!!! The familiar Hadassah Ein-Kerem skyline, which included two to four cranes during recent years, is clean now, and the Davidson Tower can be seen with all its glory.
One of the two exterior elevators on the southern wall was removed in order to finish covering the wall with stones, in keeping with the rest of the building.
Inside, work continues everywhere. Floors are being installed, the atrium is being finished, and so are the bridges on the second floor between the tower and the adjacent buildings. Technicians from the company that manufactures the new operating rooms are on site; the installation will start within the next few weeks. Joint teams from the construction company and Hadassah Medical Organization review thousands of specific details.
