Our Nation Remembers the Holocaust

The 2011 Days of Remembrance began Sunday, May 1.

Why do we remember? The President's Commission on the Holocaust states: "Remembering can instill caution, fortify restraint, and protect against future evil or indifference."

Over the coming days, our Museum will provide many opportunities for you to participate in the Days of Remembrance, wherever you live. Together, as concerned citizens, we will commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and dedicate ourselves to creating the future their memory demands.
