Young Judaea (WUJS) Students Make Aliyah

Every year, many WUJS Israel participants strongly consider or make aliyah, or choose to stay in Israel to live and work for an extended period of time. The Fall 2012 machzor (session) was no different.

Brianna Schneider (Thornhill, Ontario) is making aliyah this summer and will be working towards her graduate degree in the lab where she interned during WUJS.

Chloe Low (Encino, California) is staying in Israel to work before she makes aliyah.

David Walsh (Northants, England) is considering aliyah.

Ella King (Norfolk, England) is doing a five-month Ulpan in Southern Israel and is making aliyah.

Ilana Conway (London, England) has returned home to England to work and will be returning to Israel to make aliyah.

Jamie Gordon (Borehamwood, England) is doing a five-month Ulpan in Southern Israel and is making aliyah.

Joshua Avrom Gordon (West Hartford, Connecticut) is making aliyah and will be working in a customer support position and will cotinue working at his internship placement as well, a photography studio.

Keren Gordon (Los Angeles, California) is making aliyah, will be enrolling in an Ulpan, and will be earning her graduate degree at the IDC.

Shira Lang (Nottingham, England) is doing a five-month Ulpan in Southern Israel and is making aliyah.

Stefan Babjak (Largo, Florida) will be making aliyah in July.

Steven Slivnik (Chicago, Illinois) has made aliyah, has found an apartment in Tel Aviv, and is interviewing for several jobs.

Yelena Slobard (Rockford, IL) is making aliyah.
