How Can you Help?
Your donations, big and small, make a BIG difference in the
lives of children here and in Israel. Here are some of the ways the funds
raised by your mitzvah project can change lives. Hadassah
Hospitals, Jerusalem At Hadassah hospitals, donations buy toys for children at
the Mother & Child Center; bedding for newborns; stethoscopes and crutches;
oxygen masks; and special equipment for lifesaving surgery. Youth Aliyah Aliyah means “to go up.” Youth Aliyah takes children who are poor or neglected or abused and gives them an education and hope for the future. Your donation helps provide backpacks, counseling sessions,
school supplies, computer training and athletic equipment. Hadassah College
Jerusalem Hadassah College students run special after school programs for children with physical and mental challenges. Your donation helps provide art supplies; snacks; a Big Brother/Big Sister mentoring program; and library books. Young Judaea Young Judaea offers programs for children through young adults, here at home and in Israel. Your support can send a child for a wonderful summer at a Young Judaea overnight camp; provide supplies and transportation for Young Judaea Year Course participants to tutor children in Israel; and fill up “goody bags” for Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah, Purim and Pesach for Israeli children without families. |
