Taking Care of Yourself and Your Family:

  • Hadassah is proud to recognize domestic partnership as a qualification for dependent coverage.
  • Medical Plan: Hadassah provides a comprehensive and subsidized medical, hospitalization, and prescription plan for eligible employees and their families.
  • Dental Plan: Hadassah provides a comprehensive and subsidized dental plan for eligible employees, with the opportunity to purchase family coverage.
  • Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment: All eligible employees receive this company-paid benefit.

  • 403(b) Plan: Eligible employees can begin making payroll contributions immediately after hire, with matching contributions provided by Hadassah after one year of service.
  • 401 (a) Plan: For eligible employees who have completed one year of service, Hadassah contributes a percentage of your salary towards retirement.

Time Away From Work:

  • Vacation and Sick Leave: Hadassah offers generous sick and vacation leave.
  • Holidays: The Hadassah holiday calendar includes nine paid holidays, plus additional Jewish holidays when they fall on workdays.
  • Early Friday Closing: In most locations, Hadassah offices close by 2 PM every Friday, all year long.
  • Family Care Leave: Hadassah has a commitment to support its employees and family members, thus allowing up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave for eligible employees (which may be substituted with paid leave, if applicable):
    • Following the birth or adoption of an employee's child
    • To care for immediate family members experiencing serious health conditions; and/or
    • To care for an employee's own serious health conditions
  • Special Compensation for New Parents Eligible employees can receive this benefit after one year of employment, in honor of the birth or adoption of their new child.
  • Other Benefits

  • TransitCheks Employees living in the New York City Tri-State area may pay for public transportation using pre-tax dollars.
  • Tuition Reimbursement Hadassah encourages its employees to increase their knowledge and skills by completing relevant courses of study. After one year of employment, eligible employees may qualify for educational assistance.
