About Keepers of the Gate

Make your Keepers gift now

365 days a year, every Keeper of the Gate plays a critical role in Hadassah's lifesaving and life enhancing work.

Today, Keepers of the Gate annual gifts sustain the ongoing work of Hadassah: saving lives every day, connecting young people to Israel and to their Jewish heritage. Jewish continuity, and tomorrow's medical miracles, depend on our continued commitment.

Keepers are a part of a vast group of women and men across the country who proudly wear the David's Harp pin* and recognize the positive impact of what an annual gift means to the work of Hadassah.

"When I realized that I spent more on coffee each day than the daily cost of being a Keeper of the Gate, I understood that this was my time to give."
—Keeper of the Gate donor

Keepers of the Gate is Hadassah's first National annual giving society, and ensures millions of dollars to support the day-to-day needs of Hadassah's vital projects and programs, saving and sustaining lives around the world.

Hadassah is committed to strengthening the unity of the Jewish people. In Israel, we accomplish this through progressive healthcare, education, youth institutions, volunteerism, and land reclamation. In the U.S. we reach our goals through Jewish and Zionist education programs, Zionist Youth programs, and health awareness programs, as well as by advocating for issues of importance to women and to the American Jewish community.
