Continuing Education Credits/Professional Councils

Women with a variety of special interests may become part of a national council and affiliate on a national level with other members who share the same vocation. By participating within one of these councils, you will discover an additional context in which to meet new women in your profession with whom you can network and discuss matters of concern to you and to Hadassah.

The councils also offer programs and institutes where you can earn continuing education credits in many fields.

• Physicians’ Councils
• Social Workers'/Mental Health

Like all Hadassah chapters and groups, these professional councils take pride in supporting Hadassah's work in healing, teaching and research in Israel, the United States and around the world. Hadassah is proud to provide a venue where career women can share their values and find options for personal growth and enrichment. As they gain an understanding of the totality of Hadassah, opportunities for them to target their philanthropy will emerge.

HLA Alumnae Association

In the fall of 2004, Hadassah Leadership Academy (HLA) alumnae, with the assistance and support of the HLA Office, established the HLA Alumnae Association, with several goals in mind:

• To keep alumnae connected with each other so we can continue to strengthen Hadassah, our local Jewish communities and Israel.
• To encourage alumnae to “give back” through various methods of raising funds for Hadassah and the Hadassah Leadership Academy.
• To raise the level of appreciation for the HLA program on the part of the Hadassah National Board.

To accomplish these goals, a Steering Committee was developed, composed of members of each HLA graduating class from across the country. If you'd like to get more involved in the HLA Alumnae Association, as a member of the Steering Committee, Development Committee or Award Committee, please contact us at programming@hadassah.org
