Young People are the future of Hadassah. To address their needs, programs are available to help, educate, inform, and expand their horizons. These dynamic programs include Hebrew Studies (Ivrit la Hadassah), Jewish family education, and a huge range of Young Judaea activities such as summer camps, year-long studies in Israel, and on-going regional conferences and events. International young women aged 18 - 35 have the opportunity to involve themselves in Young Hadassah International where they support the Hadassah Medical Organization as well as train Hadassah's future leaders. Knowledge can only strengthen young men and women so that they will remain connected to the larger Jewish community. Hillel said, "To the place that my heart loves, there do my feet lead me." Youth Aliyah/Children at RiskHadassah-supported Youth Aliyah/Children at Risk sets Israel's disadvantaged children on the path to a successful future. Since 1934, over 300,000 young people from 80 lands have graduated from Youth Aliyah. Young immigrants and "at-risk" native Israelis, many of whom are victims of abuse, receive counseling, education, supportive services in Youth Aliyah day centers, and youth villages. From Hebrew language lessons and classes on Jewish heritage to athletic opportunities and art programs, Youth Aliyah students are given the extra help and attention they need to become productive members of Israeli society.
