A Special Hanukkah Message from
|
| Dear Friends, Hanukkah is a time of rededication to our values. The secular New Year carries a tradition of resolutions for personal or communal improvement. Though one idea is Jewish and the other more universal, they come from the same human instinct to make the world a better place. My Hanukkah/year-end video message focuses not only on the theme of planning for a better future, but also on the meaning of this particular year's end--the closing of Hadassah's first century and our plans for the second. It also speaks to the special resonance at this season in the promise of "Next Year in Jerusalem." I hope you are a regular visitor to the Hadassah website, www.hadassah.org, where you can find the latest news about our activities and also details about our Centennial Convention. The Convention, during which we will dedicate the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower, will be held in Jerusalem in October 2012. My best wishes to you and your families for a joyous Hanukkah and a happy and peaceful New Year. Shalom, Marcie Natan |
