Esther Through the Lenses

Welcome to Esther Through the Lenses, our newest study in Jewish Education. This online study program will culminate March 2012. At the beginning of every month a commentary on Esther will be posted with relevant questions for discussion. The sections will remain available to you so that you can join the discussion at any time or refer back to past study sections at a later date. Although each section can stand alone, they will build on each other as we go through the series.

This online study can be used as the basis of traditional group study, board study, among friends, in small or in large groups, as well as individually. We will explore various themes, including Esther in advocacy, comedy, satire, art and more. You will find suggested materials and resources throughout this study to accompany, enhance and expand your personal exploration. Together we will delve into text, and using our collective personal experiences, learn together what it means to be a modern day Esther.

This is an exciting opportunity to engage in conversation with other Hadassah members across the United States. You can share your thoughts and ideas by adding comments. By posting a comment, you irrevocably grant to Hadassah the right to use your name and statement, or any portion thereof in any and all media for any Hadassah purpose.

As a Hadassah member, this program is exclusive to you. Newcomers are welcome at any time—tell your friends! If you would like to expand your study circle to include friends who are not yet members of Hadassah, please share our Centennial Membership $100 Lifetime Offer.
