Hadassah Hospital Protects and Heals in the Midst of Bedlam
Dozens were injured this morning when a bus transporting Palestinian schoolchildren and a truck collided on wet roads in northern Jerusalem. MDA and Police were alerted. Fire engines rushed to the scene near the Hizme village checkpoint that separates Jerusalem and the West Bank. Dead victims were removed from the burning vehicles.

Yesterday at Hadassah-Ein Kerem, we hosted a delegation of 50 CEO's of major medical centers in the U.S. and Canada for an in-depth briefing and tour of our facilities. Reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act
Yesterday, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) passed out of committee and is now one step closer to reauthorization. Hadassah joined nearly 1,000 coalition members in submitting a letter to Congress in support of VAWA’s reauthorization, which the chairman referenced in his statement to the committee.
