On June 11, 2003, Sarri was on Bus 14 in Jerusalem when an 18 year-old Palestinian suicide bomber dressed as a religious Jew boarded and killed 16 people and injured 100. After 9/11, Sarri Singer resigned from her office, two blocks from Ground Zero, and moved to Israel to help victims of terror. As the Founder and Director of Strength to Strength, Sarri focuses on bringing together victims of terrorism from around the world and assisting with long term psychological care, empowering them to live life as fully as they can.
