April 24-25, 2010
Embassy Suites, Columbus Airport
Columbus, OH

Hadassah Central States Region held its Spring Forum in Columbus, OH, from Saturday to Sunday,  April 24 to April 25, 2010.  Carol Ann Schwartz, Central States Region President, welcomed everyone at 5:00 pm on Saturday afternoon.  Renee Resnik, Hadassah National Board Member and Midwest Center Coordinator, spoke about "Our Evolution", giving the Hadassah national update as members enjoyed cocktails and appetizers.  There was much discussion of the proposed national restructuring that will take place over the next two years.

After dinner, Julie Cohen, National Young Women's Network Representative, led a creative group Havdallah service.  At 9 pm, Eileen Thacker, Region EVP, distributed a "What's New, What's Hot in My Chapter" DVD, and everyone enjoyed informal networking and socializing.

On Sunday, chapter presidents attended a breakfast training session with Renee Resnik, while Sandy Goodman, Region Treasurer and Financial Task Force, met with chapter treasurers.  Susan Wilkof, Nominating Committee Chair, held a Nominating Committee meeting, while everyone else attended the discourse "What will my Chapter look like in 2012?" led by Carol Ann Schwartz, Region President, followed by a Strategic Planning Session with Susan Wilkof.  After a short break, Project Updates were presented in a novel way with members rotating between tables representing Hadassah projects and programs.  A Region Board Meeting was held at the luncheon, and at 2:30 pm, everyone went home.
