Fall Forum 2012 Day 2

On Sunday morning, November 11, 2012, while everyone had breakfast, the treasurers from Central States Region held a special meeting.  Then, at 8:30 am, Carol Ann Schwartz, National Presidential Development Co-Chair,  led a leadership training session, asking each table to discuss who their role models were and what qualities they admire. Then a spokesperson from each table reported their findings.

At 10:15, Hope Bard, Arlene Wieder and Teri Junker shared their experiences at the Centennial Celebration Convention in Jerusalem.  At 11:00 am, Doug Dougherty, State Legislative Director for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio, spoke about protecting women's rights in health treatment and family planning.

During lunch, Audrey Baker gave a loving memorial for Cheryl Carter, who recently lost her battle with breast cancer.  At 1:00 p.m. Carol Ann Schwartz introduced Dr. Shelley Negari, a doctor from Hadassah Medical Organization, who is in Cincinnati with a clinical fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.  Dr. Negari is a specialist in Adolescent Medicine, and she spoke about the special health issues of teens and young adults.

At 2 pm, Teri Junker convened the Region Board Meeting, and different officers gave their reports.  Around 3 pm, everyone departed for their respective homes.
