Our Chapter

Hewlett Chapter's president is Marilyn Stern. She has been indispensable to the Chapter for many years and is sure to uphold the its success with innovative programming and fundraising such as the new Matinee Club. Hewlett has about 1200 members, most of whom are life members and about 320 associate members. The chapter is a pivotal part of the  Nassau Region, consistently winning awards in all categories including for being one of the highest fundraising chapters in the region, plus membership, leadership, programming and bulletin excellence awards as well.

Devora Group's  newest president, Carol Katz, is so excited to lead our group to new successes.
She and her board hope you will join Devora at any of their exciting meetings and programs. Devora is a dynamic women's evening group with an eclectic membership within the chapter.

Devora has about 175 members, most of whom are life members and about 20 associate members.
Many Hewlett Chapter and Devora Group members hold integral positions within the group, chapter and Nassau region boards.

Hewlett and Devora welcome women to join us and become active in our group or just enjoy the diverse programs we offer throughout the year.

The Hewlett Hadassah Herald is the Chapter's monthly bulletin with news updates on Hadassah's projects, national, regional and local fundraising events and member news.
It is currently co-edited by Miriam Bradman Abrahams and Carol Rotenberg and published by Hewlett's Minuteman Press.
