Founded in 1909, Young Judaea is the oldest Zionist youth movement in the United States. It is dedicated to instilling Jewish values, Jewish pride and a lifelong commitment to Israel. Young Judaea challenges Jewish youth—through clubs, conventions, camps, Israel programs and university campus events—to become involved in social and educational activities that develop and sharpen their senses of Jewish and Zionist identity.

Since Hadassah first became involved with Young Judaea in 1936, we have watched Young Judaea thrive as a Zionist youth movement. Nancy Falchuk, National President of Hadassah, said “Young Judaea continues to inspire new generations to social action, communal leadership and spiritual growth. In an era when many of America’s youth have become apathetic, Young Judaea still strives.
