Celebrate the Ta Tas — November 2, 2014 in San Francisco
Congregation Beth Shalom
On painting day, the San Francisco chapter will celebrate, empower and educate women of all shapes and sizes. In a sea of paint and sparkles, women will receive mammograms, massages and makeovers. The program will showcase Hadassah as bridging the divide of economics, age and religion. The event will also feature stories of survivors. The San Francisco Bay Area, which has some of the highest percentages of breast cancer in the state, is where the body is celebrated in everything from Gay Pride to Bay to Breakers. But this event is different because it helps women from every generation celebrate their beauty, and offers our donors a beautiful piece of art to hang and celebrate the fight.
