Local Ongoing Mitzvah Projects

Hadassah North Shore Chapter's On-Going Mitzvah Projects

The North Shore Chapter has several on-going Mitzvah Projects to help local organizations. The Chapter has participated in these Mitzvah Projects for many years.

The Chapter collects cell phones for Shalva.

The Chapter collects eye glasses and hearing aids for the Lions Clubs.

The Chapter also collects items for a shelter in Chicago called REST, particularly toiletries, but we collect other things the shelter too. Click here for the Shelter's Spring Wish List.

In addition, for a second year, we are continuing to collect food for the Northfield Food Pantry. There is a need for both kosher and non-kosher food items. Please bring your donations of non-perishable food items in non-breakable containers to our office in Northbrook.

To particiapte in any of these Mitzvah Projects simply bring your cell phones, glasses, non-perishable food items (in non-breakable containers), or items for the shelter to our Chapter Office: 3000 Dundee Road, Suite 313, Northbrook, IL. If you have any questions contact the Office at 847-205-1900 or northshore@hadassah.org.
